Homecoming 2026 Recap

January 12th, 2026

SPIRIT WEEK

Homecoming Week kicked off with a full slate of Spirit Week fun, bringing energy and creativity to campus after the return from break. Students rolled out of bed for Pajama Day, doubled up for Twin Day, showed their appreciation on Dress Like a Teacher Day, and embraced the season with Winter Wonderland/Ugly Christmas Sweaters. The week culminated in Spirit Day, as students, faculty, and staff proudly wore blue and green, setting the tone for a weekend filled with Seawolf pride and community. On Friday, students enjoyed tacos, spirited conversation, and even a dunk tank, where faculty bravely took the plunge to the delight of the student body.

Seawolf Luncheon

Friday’s Seawolf Luncheon was the heart of Homecoming week: a meaningful and joy-filled tradition honoring the original Seawolves, Vietnam War veterans, and their families. This year, seven Seawolves and their families joined us on campus for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and celebration.

The luncheon featured a powerful and thoughtful address from Associated Student Government President Jenna Kim ’26, who spoke beautifully about legacy, gratitude, and what it means to carry the Seawolf name forward. In a special moment, the Seawolves honored the Homecoming Court by presenting each student with a Seawolf medallion, recognizing the character traits they embody—Courage, Integrity, Compassion, and Humility. It was a moving reminder of the values that unite generations of Seawolves.

BOAT DANCE

Friday night, students traded spirit wear for formal attire at the annual Homecoming Boat Dance, enjoying an unforgettable evening on the water. Laughter, music, and celebration filled the night as students danced under the lights and took in the views. One of the most exciting moments of the evening came when the Homecoming Court winners were announced.

This year’s court honored students recognized for exemplifying the core traits of the Seawolves:

  • Freshman Courage: Lord Grey Elliot & Lady Belen Covarrubias

  • Sophomore Integrity: Duke Christian Estes & Duchess Isabelle Schoeman

  • Junior Compassion: Prince Nick Constantine & Princess Peyton Gendall

  • Senior Humility: King Jayden Garcia Haagvoort & Queen Naomi Shen

The announcement made for a memorable highlight of the night, as classmates cheered on each honoree and celebrated together.

Game Day

Homecoming weekend concluded with an electric Game Day, as nearly 1,000 fans packed the stands throughout the day and the student section brought nonstop energy, cheering on our teams during an exciting slate of Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer and Basketball games. Highlights included a strong Girls’ Soccer victory and a thrilling Varsity Boys Basketball win, sealed by a slam dunk that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Dressed in white for the White Out, students, families, and alumni created an unforgettable atmosphere of Seawolf pride.
