We know that choosing the right school takes time, so we’ve designed multiple admissions opportunities to help fit with your busy schedule. Whether you prefer attending one of our morning Visit Pacifica Days, or an evening Open House, there are a variety of ways you and your teen can explore Pacifica. PACIFICA PREVIEW – HEAD OF SCHOOL TOUR
Join our Preview Day event for a first-look experience that offers a unique perspective on Pacifica’s mission, values, and daily life. You and your teen will walk the halls, visit classrooms in action, and hear firsthand how we cultivate academic excellence, character, and community. This intimate setting allows for thoughtful conversation and meaningful connection—an ideal opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into what makes Pacifica such a distinctive place to learn and grow.

Visit Pacifica Days
Visit Pacifica Days are morning events that give you a unique chance to see our school in action. Parents tour the Pacifica campus, connect with faculty and staff, join breakout sessions, and have opportunities to learn and ask questions during student and teacher panels. Meanwhile, prospective students take their own guided tours to explore and and get a taste of our unique Pacifica culture. Whether you’re bringing your teen or coming on your own, we warmly invite you to see Pacifica up close.

Open Houses
Open houses are the best way to explore everything Pacifica offers. These events are in the evening so the whole family can attend. You’ll experience a full campus tour, meet faculty, staff, coaches, and student ambassadors, and even attend mini-classes led by our talented teachers. We also offer breakout sessions on topics like athletics, arts, and leadership, giving you a firsthand experience of Pacifica’s vibrant community.

Parent Coffee Hours are a relaxed way to connect with Pacifica parents while hearing more about our school. Enjoy coffee and snacks in a comfortable home setting, hosted by our admissions team, and get your questions answered by parents who know Pacifica best.

Shadow Days
Prospective students spend a day with a student ambassador, attending classes, eating lunch, and meeting our faculty. Shadow Days often help undecided students feel more confident in their decision. This option is available to applicants who have submitted their initial form. Request your Shadow Day through our admissions office.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO VISIT

Our Location
Pacifica is nestled in the heart of Santa Monica on the westside of Los Angeles, 18 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Located along the Wilshire corridor, Pacifica is strategically located in the center of influence and surrounded by great food options for students, as well as internship options in business, sports, medicine, science, and law.

Pacifica’s address is 1730 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA 90403. Our campus spans one acre and is adjacent to historic Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Please note that the school entrance is on 18th Street.

How should I prepare for my campus visit?
Before your visit, review what sets Pacifica apart and jot down any questions you have about academics, extracurriculars, and student life. Encourage your teen to prepare some questions as well. Bring a notebook if you'd like to take notes, and dress comfortably for walking around campus.
What should I bring and wear?
We recommend dressing comfortably and casually for your visit. Snacks and beverages will be provided, but you can bring something to take notes with, and come ready with all of your questions. If you're attending a Shadow Day, your teen should bring a backpack with any school supplies they normally use.
How long is the visit?
The length of the visit depends on the type of event. Open Houses last around 2.5 hours, Visit Pacifica Days are 2 hours and 15 minutes, while Shadow Days last the full school day. You can always confirm visit times with the Admissions Office.
WHEN CAN I START MY APPLICATION?
You can start your application process online anytime before or after attending an admissions event. After each event, the admissions team will provide you with all the details you need to get started.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
If you have registered for a Head of School Tour, Open House, or Visit Pacifica Day, you will receive a confirmation email that also contains parking information. For all other events, we recommend street parking. Please take note of posted signs.
