Biography
Growing up in coastal Los Angeles, I developed a deep love for the ocean and have been fortunate to live much of my life in and around the water - surfing, sailing, diving, and spearfishing. I began teaching surfing at UCSD, which sparked a lifelong passion for ocean education, youth mentorship, and community which I use everyday in my coaching and operating my surfing programs with my business - Aqua Surf School in Santa Monica. As Coach of Pacifica Christian’s Surf Team, I’m excited to help students experience the stoke, challenges, and personal growth that come through surfing - I believe the ocean has many lessons. On the water, I chase the best swells and perfect weather windows to sail, surf or spearfish with friends. When on land, I love to hike, be outside and cook tasty seafood dinners for my wife.
