Admissions Process

Admission to Pacifica Christian High School is highly selective for the 2021-2022 school year. We actively seek young men and women who wish to pursue a demanding college preparatory, liberal arts education. Our students are taught by teachers who are knowledgeable and passionate about their field of study, well-trained in the art of teaching, compassionate and excited about the students they teach, and substantial in Christian faith, thought, and character.

  • Step 1: Request Information

    Completing an online inquiry generates an email, giving you a username and the ability to create a password for your personalized admission portal. This is where you will be able to check the status of your online application. It also allows us to share additional information about Pacifica and upcoming events with you.

  • Step 2: Complete the Online Application

    The online application will be available starting August 14th.

    Candidates for admission to Pacifica should apply online using the MyPacifica Application or the Standard Application Online (SAO). Families applying to more than one independent school may find the SAO to be convenient. The choice of platform has no bearing on admission decisions. The completed application is due by January 15 to ensure a March 5 decision.
  • Step 3: Official Transcripts

    Official transcripts from the first semester of the current year and at least two prior full years are required. Please create an online application account and download your Official Transcripts Request form from your personal application checklist.
  • Step 4: Three School Recommendations

    We require three recommendations, one from a school administrator, current math teacher and current English teacher. The school recommendation forms should be emailed to the student’s current school approximately four weeks prior to the date the recommendations are due. Please create an online application account and request your recommendations through your personal application checklist.
  • Step 5: Family Interview

    At least one parent and the prospective student must attend the family interview. Once registration is released in October, please sign up as soon as possible as interview slots are limited and fill up quickly. Please create an online application account and sign up for an interview slot through your personal application checklist.
  • Step 6: Financial Aid

    Pacifica Christian High School seeks students and families from all economic backgrounds. If you are interested in applying for financial aid please visit our Financial Aid page and complete a FAST Financial Aid Application. This application may take a few hours, so please start the application at least two weeks prior to the due date.

  • Attend an Admissions Event throughout September - December
  • Apply online: Due January 15
  • Teacher recommendation forms: Due January 15
  • Official transcripts: Due January 15
  • Character Skills Snapshot (optional): Due January 15
  • Family interview to be completed between January 13 - February 7
  • ISEE (optional): Due February 15
  • Financial Aid application: Due February 1
  • Transfer Student Application: Due June 4
