Financial Aid Application

The FAST System by Independent School Management conducts the financial need analysis for Pacifica Christian High School. All families applying for financial aid will need to complete an online application and submit the necessary supporting documentation.  There is an application fee of $41.
 
FAST applications are due February 15th with all 2016 tax forms mailed to FAST (postmarked) by February 20th. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL TAX FORMS DIRECTLY TO PACIFICA.

** Please note, the financial aid application closes promptly on February 15. There is no guarantee late financial aid applications will receive any awards. 

Scholarships

Pacifica is a school that serves all neighborhoods. Our goal is to provide a challenging college preparatory environment, integrating faith and learning, to all who are passionate about our mission and meet the requirements for admission. The foundations and institutions below provide funds to support the tuition of Pacifica Christian High School students. Awards are given on an annual basis and are in addition to funds received from the Pacifica financial aid office.

  • Christian Ministry Scholarship

    The Christian Ministry Scholarship is given to a student whose parent or guardian is involved in pastoral work or ministry. Awards are based on need and merit.

    Eligible Applicants:
    • Eligible to both incoming and current students
    • Minimum of a  3.0 grade point average
    • Students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average to reapply
    Application Process:
    • Complete the required portion of the FAST application for this scholarship.
    • Submit a FAST financial aid application
    • Reapply for funding each year
  • In Christo Vera Educatio

    The In Christo Vera Educatio Foundation (ICVE) exists to help support students with need who are passionate about pursuing an education that integrates the liberal arts and Christian faith. Awards range from $3,000 – $10,000 per year. Financial aid awards for In Christo applicants may be delayed, pending review of In Christo Application. Awards are based on need, merit, and the quality of the application.

    Eligible Applicants:
    • Eligible to only current students
    • A 3.0 minimum grade point average
    • A 3.0 grade point average must be earned to reapply

  • Peter & Cynthia Olmstead Scholarship

    Peter left an indelible mark on Pacifica Christian High School. As a member of the founding committee and a pioneer on the board, he exemplified leadership, courage, and stepped out in faith to establish Pacifica. If not for Peter and his wife Cynthia Pacifica Christian would have only been an idea. Cynthia cares deeply about the Westside, education, young people and Peter’s legacy. Their work has impacted thousands and is a testimony to the Pacifica mission, one they helped craft, of thinking and living well.

    The Peter & Cynthia Olmstead Award honors students who show an aptitude to complete a rigorous course of academic study, an inclination toward a virtuous way of living and potential for leadership. The award is given to students who might utilize their Pacifica for good while in high school and well into the future.
    Awards are based on significant financial need and a record of superior academic performance.

    Eligible Applicants:
    • Eligible to both incoming and current students
    • Minimum of a 3.6 grade point average
    Application Process:
    • Students will automatically be considered based on their FAST application and academic performance.
  • Pilgrim Lutheran Scholarship

    Pilgrim Lutheran Church has been a strong supporter of Pacifica Christian High School since the school’s founding in 2005. Each year they sponsor students to attend Pacifica. Pilgrim Lutheran Church sponsors scholarships for Christian students in need that desire a Christian education. Awards are based on need, merit, and the quality of the application. Awards range from $1,000 – $4,000 per year.

    Eligible Applicants:
    • Eligible to both incoming and current students
    Application Process:
    • Complete the application found below
    • Submit a FAST financial aid application
    • Upload application to FAST, along with tax documents
    • Reapply for funding each year
