Admissions Process

Admission to Pacifica Christian High School is highly selective for the 2017-2018 school year. To learn more about Pacifica and stay up-to-date on the latest this admissions season, please request information here.

We actively seek young men and women who wish to pursue a demanding college preparatory, liberal arts education. Our students are taught by teachers who are knowledgeable and passionate about their field of study, well-trained in the art of teaching, compassionate and excited about the students they teach, and substantial in Christian faith, thought, and character.

Admission is based on multiple criteria, including:

  • A balanced academic record, indicating ability to succeed in a challenging curriculum
  • Three teacher recommendations, indicating strong academic background, academic potential, motivation to work hard, and age appropriate social and emotional development and behavior
  • A personal recommendation, indicating willingness to work hard
  • Average to above average ISEE scores
  • A personal interview, indicating evident enthusiasm for learning and support of the mission of Pacifica.

All due dates must be observed for application to be considered in first round of admissions. Please see due dates outline below.

Official Transcripts 

Official transcripts from the first semester of the current year and at least two prior full years are required. Please download, print, and submit the Records Release Form to your current school administration office. The form can be found here:

Three School Recommendations

We require three recommendations, one from a school administrator, one from the current English teacher, and one from the current Math teacher. The school recommendation forms should be given to the student’s current school approximately four weeks prior to the date the recommendations are due. Personal Recommendation

We require one personal recommendation. The personal recommendation form should be given to the chosen recommender approximately four weeks prior to the date the recommendations are due. You may find the personal recommendation form here:

Family Interview

Please visit our interview website as soon as possible to sign up for a family interview. At least one parent and the prospective student must attend. Please sign up as soon as possible as interview slots are limited and fill up quickly. You must sign up for an interview before February 3 to be considered in the first round of admissions

To register for the ISEE exam, visit The Pacifica code to use when registering is 054328. That code will be placed in the “report to schools” section when signing up. You may also register by calling 800.446.0320. Please sign up as soon as possible as these exam dates fill up and they often close at least two weeks prior to the test date.

Financial Aid

Pacifica Christian High School seeks students and families from all economic backgrounds. If you are interested in applying for financial aid please visit our Financial Aid page and complete a FAST Financial Aid Application. This application may take a few hours, so please start the application at least two weeks prior to the due date.
