Coach Kelsey moves into his 5th year as Athletic Director at Pacifica. After coaching at Pacific Hills in West Hollywood (where many of his players continued their careers at such schools as Indiana State, UC Riverside, University of Hawaii Hilo, Western Washington, Monmouth, Vanguard, Menlo, and The Masters College) and at San Pasqual in North County San Diego, Coach Kelsey is focused on seeing that all of Pacifica’s athletic teams are competitive and succesful at helping develop student athtletes. Coach Kelsey is developing an athletic program that will help its athletes not only get the most out of the experience, but help those that want to further their athletic careers. Coach Kelsey is currently the league representative for the Mulholland League to the CIF. Justin Bailey Head Coach Boys Varsity Soccer
Justin Bailey grew up playing baseball in Vienna, Austria, for the AIBC Cardinals and the Austrian National Little League team that was runner-up to Saudi Arabia in the 1995 Europe and Middle East championships. He continued to play baseball after moving to Michigan in high school, where he also played football and basketball and ran track. During this time he got to play in Detroit’s Silverdome for the top high school division’s state football championship. A shoulder injury prevented Justin from playing intercollegiate sports, but not from claiming the notoriously elusive intramural flag football title at the University of Michigan! He still enjoys the above sports in addition to soccer, skiing, and ice skating, and is excited to be a part of Pacifica’s rapidly growing athletic department.
